First hair cuts!

The boys had their first official haircuts from auntie Jill yesterday! It was much needed, and they did a lot better than I thought.

Jet

Jax. Mckade said he got to pick the style for this little guy. He ended up with a little mohawk. At least now it's easier to tell them apart!

Handsome fellas!
(This was the best shot we could get of both of them. They just wanted to get down and crawl)

Round up

We had a fun filled week of parades and carnivals at the Round up! We went to the parades both Friday and Saturday. Lily loved them! Especially when they threw "snacks." She also loved all the marching bands. Jet and Jax were not impressed, and were more interested in trying to pick up dirt and rocks to eat, typical.

At the parade...

At the carnival... Lily was too scared to get her face painted, but she wanted to ride the pony. We were all shocked she actually did it! We tried to get her to at Thanksgiving Point last year and she freaked out.

 Train ride..

We ended up seeing quite a few old friends we haven't seen in years. Good times!

Midway

We went up to McKades sisters place in Midway over Memorial weekend. Lily had lots of fun swimming and playing with her cousins, and McKade had lots of fun golfing with Trace and Rustin. And me, well... I had lots of fun tending kids, as usual. ;)

Jet and Jax first time swimming. They loved it!

Just hanging out...

Laney asked if she could feed one of the boys pretty much every time I fed them. She did pretty good!

Eating puffs. Seriously, what would I do without them?

My little blogger! Lily wanted to help out with this post. She's a really good helper, most of the time.

9 months, and a new cousin!

So here are the nine month stats:
Jet: 18 lbs 5 oz (13%)   29 inches (71%)  head 46cm (67%)
Jax: 18 lbs 13 oz (19%) 30 inches (92%) head 46.5cm (80%)
so basically they are really long and skinny with big heads ;)

Jet likes
crawling everywhere
pulling up to things
taking baths and splashing
his blankie
Eating puffs (without gagging finally), and other things found on the floor
stealing toys/binkies from his brother
waving bye-bye
playing under the kitchen table
dancing
Now has eight teeth (six of which came in at the same time!)

Jax likes
following Jet wherever he goes
pulling up to things
walking behind Lily's pink stroller/walker
taking baths (throws a FIT when it's time to get out)
his blankie
Eating puffs
laying on Jet and laughing when he cries
Saying "dada"
dancing
Now has six teeth (four of which came in at the same time Jet was getting his six, yeah it's been teething hell around here!)

Here's a look at what they've been up to, and in to, lately...

We got to visit my new little niece, Oaklee Jade,  and Lilys first cousin on my side. Adorable!

5 Years

We had our five year anniversary on the 29th of April. We pawned the kids off on grandma and grandpa C. for the night and went to exotic and far away Salt Lake City! Yeah, we didn't care where we went, as long as we went somewhere kid free. We did my two favorite (and McKades least favorite) things, ate at Olive Garden and went to the mall! Seems like only yesterday we were in high school going to school dances together!

More Easter fun...

We had another egg hunt at my grandmas the day before Easter. How many egg hunts does one little girl need? There are tons of kids on that side, and they had huge bowel fulls of plastic eggs they hid. My grandmas yard is really big, so there were lots of places to hide them.

These four little kids dyed about three dozen eggs (and themselves)  in about ten minutes.

We had lots of fun this Easter, and Lily keeps asking when the next egg hunt is !

Easter fun

We had the annual Colledge-Smith family Easter party on Monday night. We roasted hot dogs for dinner, then the older kids had a fun scavenger hunt, while the younger kids found their eggs around the yard. They played plinko for money eggs and frosted Easter cookies!

Mckade was working and had to meet us at the party, which meant I had to get myself and three kids ready to go. I was getting myself ready, and Lily thought she'd help me out and get the boys ready! She snuck the spray bottle out of the bathroom, and by the time I caught her she had the twins hair soaking wet. They didn't even care at all. I yelled and asked her what she was doing and she said " don't worry. I'm just getting baby brothers handsome..."

Sorry boys, but I'm sure this won't be the last time your big sister gets a hold of you. I'm sure someday there will be makeup involved too.
